Our first book tag! I found this book tag searching for a good Sunday post and came across this tag!
Physical Copy or E-book?
It truly depends on the book for me, I think I prefer to read contemporaries and shorter books on e-book (buying the physical copy if I really enjoyed it)!
Audiobook or Book in Hand?
Ok to be fair, I have never listened to an audiobook… so I would say book in hand.
Paperback or Hardcover?
Hardcover all the way, they are so much sturdier which I definitely need! I totally buy both types of books though! It really just depends on the situation.
Adult or Young Adult?
Young Adult! I haven’t graduated to Adult genre books yet… It seems very intimidating to sift through so many series/authors/sub-genres!
Series or Standalone?
I’m a series-shipper. I become so immersed in the world that authors build that I end up in such a state of depression once that book has ended.
Dog-Ears or Bookmarks?
There are two types of people in the world, people who use bookmarks and monsters.
Borrow or Buy?
Buy, I like having a full bookshelf of my own books! Also, I haven’t used our public library but I’ve heard that the Young Adult section is pretty limited.
Bookstore or Online?
Honestly, it depends on how cheap I am being that day or if I am out with someone like Jenn, peer pressuring me to buy at a bookstore. Usually, I am money conscience and wait to buy online because it’s so much cheaper than buying full retail price at Barnes & Noble.
Fiction or Non-Fiction?
Fantasy World or Real Life Issues?
Fantasy World! Thanks to Eden and Jenn I have moved into the Fantasy world and I don’t think I’ll be leaving any time soon!
Monster Read or Short + Sweet?
It depends on my mood, I usually have to use a short and sweet book between my monster read books.
Starry-Eyed Romance or Full of Action?
Can I not have both????? There have been so many great books recently who have been doing it right that I just want both!
Curl Up with a Blanket or Bathe in the Sun?
Being a red-head prevents me from doing much in the sun… I also prefer being inside in the cold.
Read the Review or Decide for Yourself?
I place a lot of trust in Goodreads ratings on books, it hasn’t seemed to let me down yet, so I’ll keep following that mentality. Oh and I’ll basically read anything that Eden and Jenn tell me is worth the read.
Zombies or Unicorns?
Definitely unicorns. I’m not a big zombie fan… Yeah… no Walking Dead fans up in my house! (TBF, I don’t have time to watch TV and I haven’t given it a chance yet…)
