Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Release Party!

I did my waiting… 9 years of it!

Me after watching the “Finding Dory” trailer

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is finally here! All of us over here at Thrice Read have grown up with HP and were truly excited for the release of the screen write that is The Cursed Child! We attended our local Barnes & Noble for the midnight release party and we are going to show you just how our night went.

Upon entrance, B&N transformed the interior doors to represent Platform 9 3/4.

Dobby was accepting packages of socks to give to the homeless children in town (how cool is that?!)

We then stumbled upon the Quidditch field where a game was commencing.

We tried to steer clear of the Whomping Willow.

Moaning Myrtle helped us figure out the riddle of the Chamber of Secrets.

We demonstrated some house pride!

Not sure why we partook on the Muggle Wall, we are all definitely full-blooded wizards…

Potions class was much more fun (and tasty) than what we expected!

Finally, we got into some trouble, so we had to leave.

But not before we got the loot!!!

Did you guys participate in any midnight release parties? We are so excited to see what everyone else did to welcome The Cursed Child into the world! Comment below and let us know!

    1. Don’t let it fool you, of the three of us only one of us actually got it at the midnight release! Haha, the other two of us already had it pre-ordered on Amazon (big mistake on my part because I didn’t get it til Wednesday! 😧)
