Eden’s TBR – August

Ah. New month, new me.

But not really.

Last month I did pretty well with my TBR. I only missed two books on my list. Maybe this month I’ll finish my entire TBR? I don’t know. We’ll see.

Now. To the good stuff:

The Season by Jonah Lisa Dyer and Stephen Dyer

  • I like retellings of stories and I’ve seen people say good things about this book, so why not? Plus, I’m trying to read more contemporaries.

The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge

  • I bought this book because I loved the cover and I was totally intrigued by the premise. I haven’t heard anything about it, so I’m not totally sure what to expect. But we shall see.

The Marked Girl by Lindsey Klingele

  • I read the synopsis of this book in the book store and thought it sounded hilarious. A person from another realm being thrust into modern day L.A.? Sounds like a good time to me.

A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab

  • I am so ready to read this book. I finished A Darker Shade of Magic and wanted to read A Gathering of Shadows immediately except I was so behind on my reading that I haven’t had a chance. SO. This month it’s happening. I need to read about Kell and Rhy and Lila and everything that is Red London.
