Eden’s September TBR

I did so poorly on last months TBR.

I only managed to read two of the four books that I had hoped to read. One of the books that I did read I marked as DNF (see my review for The Marked Girl).

This month I’m going for four books again and we’ll see if I can hit it.

I should point out that while I didn’t complete my TBR list, I did read other books that weren’t on it so it wasn’t a total embarrassment of a month.

Now for the TBR:

The Graces by Laure Eve

This book is either going to be really good or a total catastrophe. I’m leaning more towards catastrophe but we will see. I picked this book up because I saw the cover and was in love, I’m really hoping the story is as good as this cover.

Wolf By Wolf by Ryan Graudin

Jenn has been telling me for awhile to read Wolf by Wolf and I haven’t had a chance/haven’t been able to find it in any bookstore. I ordered it about a week ago and it just came in and already I’m antsy to read it. A book about killing Hitler in an alternate reality? I’m so down.

Firefight by Brandon Sanderson

While I’m crazy excited to read Wolf by Wolf, I am even more excited for Firefight. We read Steelheart as a book club book about two weeks ago now (I think?). If you want to see my feelings on the book you can click here. But, long story short, this book is going to be awesome because Brandon Sanderson is awesome and everything he writes is gold.

American Girls by Alison Umminger

I’m intrigued by this book because the synopsis takes it from “girls hanging out in L.A.” to “Girls get sucked into discovering information on the Manson murders.” It’s one of those jumps that just make you scratch your head and wonder how the book will be written.

Anyway, those are my picks for September. They probably won’t be met, but you can be sure that I’ll get at least two of these done. Or at least I hope I will.

What do you think of my TBR? Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you guys think?
