Epic Reads is an amazing publishing company. I always expect great things from them. I am drawn to their authors and new releases. So, I had to do the book tag that shares the name with them. Some of these answers were truly introspective and I really liked that about this tag.

If you could invite one author and one of their fictional characters to lunch, who would you invite and what would you serve them?
This answer came right to mind as soon as I read this question. My answer is without a doubt Leigh Bardugo and Kaz Brekker. I feel like old Dirty Hands would have some crazy stories to share plus I adore him.
What book do you wish the author would write a prequel for?
This is so difficult. I am very weary of wishing for additional books in a series. All to often I feel disappointed with sequels or prequels. However, I would really like to get a prequel for the Mistborn, more specifically surrounding Kelsier. He was such an intriguing character I would like to learn more of his history.
Which two characters (not from the same book) would make a good couple?
Okay, this was super difficult to think of. I don’t know if they would make a good couple perse but I would enjoy the banter nonetheless. I would choose Will Herondale (The Mortal Instruments) and Celeana Sardothien (Throne of Glass). I mean that snark.
If you ran into your favorite author on the subway and only could say one sentence to them, who is it and what would it be?
I have so many favorite authors that this is impossible. However, I would have to tell J.K. Rowling “Write a marauders prequel.”
What book made you a reader and why?
Harry Potter is the series that truly changed me as a reader. I think that I would have to choose the Junie B. Jones series for this question. They were my first chapter books and I ate them up.
Your bookshelf just caught fire. Show the book you’d save.
This is a traumatizing question. I don’t know that my answer would stay the same for this. Currently I would have to save my 50th anniversary copy of To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. This is one of my favorite books of all time and I love this limited edition that I have.
Which dystopian world would you want to live in if you had to choose one? Why?
I don’t know if there is a dystopian world I would want to live in. I would probably have to choose Divergent merely for self-preservation purposes. I feel as though I would not be divergent so I could survive in my faction.
What is your most epic read of all time?
Ugh, I don’t even know how to answer this question. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky had a profound impact on me in high school. It felt meaningful and written purposefully for me. In a time where people are very confused about identity I felt like this book just got it and got me.
