December TBR – Eden

I kind of sort of followed my TBR last month. But this month. This is the month in which I kill it on my TBR and finish the books on my shelves.

That’s right guys, I’ve read nearly all of the books on my shelves. So this could be a really big moment for me.

Let’s get this bad boy on the road:

The Midnight Star by Marie Lu

  • I’ve been saying this for like three months now, but I need to read The Midnight Star. I really want to finish this series and see how it wraps itself up. Luckily I go on Christmas break soon so I’m going to have a whole lot of time to finish it.

Ice like Fire by Sarah Raasch

  • I got this book weeks ago and really want to read it. It’s the sequel to Snow Like Ashes which I liked, but wasn’t really sure if I would read the sequel. After taking some time to decide, my opinion of the book has become more flattering of the first in the series so we shall see how I enjoy its predecessor.

Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard

  • I’m so so so excited to read this book because I absolutely love Dennard. Also, everyone I’ve ever talked to about this book has raved about how good it is.

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

  • I keep seeing people talk about how beautiful this book is and I’m really excited to read it simply because of that. It’s won multiple awards and was named a National Book Award Finalist, which isn’t given out to just any book.

All right. That was all I was willing to set up for my December TBR. I’m positive I can read all of these and more considering I’m going to have about two and a half weeks off here soon. I figured I would leave it at this so I have some flexibility on my reading options.

What do you guys think? Is there anything that I absolutely just need to read this month? Let me know in the comments.

  1. I’m super excited to read The Sun Is Also A Star, too! I finished Everything, Everything in under four hours, I adore Yoon’s writing style. I also keep meaning to read Marie Lu and Sarah Raasch (the first books in their series). Great TBR!

    1. This will be my first novel by Yoon but everyone is always talking about how lovely a writer she is. It’s made me rather excited for this book.

And oh man you definitely need to read Marie Lu’s Legend series. It’s absolutely amazing.
