Let’s face it, I’m a bookaholic. I’m not ashamed. Though the space in my apartment/thew money in my wallet might be hurting because of it. I thought these were super interesting questions about book buying tendancies. I don’t often see a lot of tags about book blogger’s buying habits so I thought it would be a fun change. I would love to see your answers to these questions so make sure to link if you do the tag!

What do you Like about Buying New Books?
I love the anticipation of getting to read the new book. I enjoy not knowing what to expect from the book. I also just love how they look on my shelves.
How Often do you Buy New Books?
I try not to buy new books all that often. I’m currently subscribed to 3 book subscription boxes at the moment so I get at least 3 new releases a month.
Bookstore or Online Book Shopping – Which do you Prefer?
Bookstore for sure. This makes it difficult to obtain hardcovers of every book that I would like. However, I love the immediate gratification.
Do you have a Favorite Bookshop?
My go to is Barnes and Noble simply because it’s the easiest for me to get to. However, I really love Malaprops in Asheville, NC and Parnassus in Nashville, TN. I did a post all about Parnassus here.
Do you Pre-Order Books?
Yes. I try to pre-order all of my most anticipated new releases.
Do you have a Monthly Book Buying Limit?
I don’t do well with limits on books. I feel as though when I institute a limit is always a time where I discover new amazing books. So, I’ve given up on it.
Book Buying Bans – Are they Something for you?
I’ve tried book buying bans in the past. However, new great books just keep coming out. So, until there’s a month where I’m not super excited about any new releases a book buying ban just won’t work for me.
How Big is your Wishlist?
Ugh. The limit does not exist.
Which Three Books from your Wishlist do you Wish to Own Now?
I would probably have to say Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Hardback) by Ransom Riggs, The Pretty Reckless by Kami Garcia, and Last Seen Leaving by Caleb Roehrig. The first because my shelf with the Peculiar series bothers me since they are not matching. The latter two because I’ve heard such great things from both of these books.
Are you a buyer like me or are you more frugal with your book buying?
