Eden’s January TBR

It’s January… of 2017.

It’s crazy how fast time has gone by. It feels like just yesterday that Caitlynn, Jenn and I started this blog and here we are six months later putting together another monthly TBR that I likely won’t follow.

So my TBR will run a little differently this month since there are so many new releases coming. Specifically, Windwitch, Susan Dennard’s follow up to Truthwitch.

The three of us, Thrice Read, will be traveling to Parnassus Books in Nashville for Dennard’s January 15th signing as a birthday gift to me (because, y’all, my birthday is on the 15th and this seemed like an excellent gift). Since we’ll be going to her signing, my big focus for January is completing Windwitch, which actually shouldn’t take me long.

For the first time in the history of all of my TBR posts, I will be including a book that hasn’t even been released yet.

Prepare yourselves.

Windwitch by Susan Dennard
  • This is top of my list for January even though I’m currently reading Ice Like Fire by Sarah Raasch. Windwitch comes out January 10 and you can be sure I’ll be reading it immediately.

The Midnight Star by Marie Lu
  • Let’s be real. I probably won’t get to it this month. I’ve had this on my TBR for months, but I swear one day I will sit down and read it in one sitting because Lu is amazing and once you pick up one of her books you can’t put it down.

  • I bought this book a little while ago, set it on my shelf and haven’t even attempted to read it because I knew I needed it for a time I was struggling through TBRs. I am really excited to read it because I’ve heard some really good stuff about it.
ever-the-hunted
Ever The Hunted by Erin Summerill
  • This. Cover. Is. Gorgeous. I have been so excited about reading this book since I got it. It’s fantasy and one that has been talked about a lot in the last month and everything I’ve heard — both good and bad — have made me antsy to get this book in my hands and read.

I’m going to leave it at four for now so if I have time I can add more to my list. Plus, I have’t actually been doing well following my TBR’s recently.

So, what do you guys think of my TBR? Have you read any of these books?

  1. Great list! I haven’t read any of those yet. The Witchlands series and Ever The Hunted are on my TBR, though. I’m really excited about reading them. Have a good day!

  2. I have been itching to read Labyrinth Lost and Ever the Hunted, but I haven’t had the chance to read them yet. I definitely can’t wait to see your review on it, since I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews for it. πŸ˜€
