The 2017 TBR Shame Book Tag

Ok, so I was perusing some book blogs and came across The Book Nut’s blog where they did a TBR Shame book tag and I thought, “hey what a great idea, I would love to count all of the unread books on my shelves, there can’t be too many…” Eden also reminded me how much people love shame (we are looking at you GoT) so nevertheless, here we are! I’m going to list all of the books on my bookshelves that I have yet to read. My idea is to get this list complete and manage it throughout the year and mark-off books as I get them read and at the end of the year revisiting this tag to see how well I did. Let’s go!

Is there a book on this list that I absolutely have to read soon, if so let me know!

    1. Haha! I was nervous about doing it, but it didn’t turn out too bad. Daughter of Smoke and Bone is super high on my TBR, I’ve heard so many great things about it!

  1. I think this is such a great idea and I might do it on my blog as well (although I kind of felt like people might think I’m showing off the amount of books that I have on my shelves). A couple of the books on here are on my list as well 🙂
Falling Kingdoms is a really good book and I really enjoyed Since You’ve Been Gone as well.

    1. I would love to see your list! Don’t worry about what other people think! My main reason for doing this was to hold myself more accountable to read the books that I buy and not to just buy just because! I’m super excited to get into so many of these books and I’ve bought most of them because I’ve heard such great things!

  2. Oh dear – I wouldn’t DARE do this challenge! I kind of do have a page on my blog of books bought in the past year or so, and very few of them are crossed out. Let’s just not talk about the older portion of the TBR pile!! o_O

  3. So many to add to my own TBR list! I really enjoyed Yes Please – there are pictures and guest chapters and really great stories (which you probably guessed). Your post has inspired me to make a TBR Shame list on my blog, although my list is much shorter. I suppose I’ll have make more trips to the bookstore to add to it! Thank you for sharing 🙂
