Another week, another game of Top Five Friday.
As I was driving to work this morning I thought the best option would be to give everyone a “Top Five Books I’m Most Looking Forward To in 2017”. It’s a lengthy title, but nonetheless I felt many of you would be interested.
So, lets get down to business.
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
Oh? Did I just hear the sigh of a thousand readers as they recognize the third book in the ACOTAR trilogy and thought, “Another book blogger says they’re excited about a Maas book. Go figure.” Yeah. This book is going to be great and I don’t care how tired you are of hearing it.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Try to tell me this book doesn’t sound amazing. Plus, it’s already been given so many amazing reviews. I’ve been counting down the months until I got to read it since about August and finally it’ll be out at the end of January. Queue squee.
A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
Did you guys know that V.E. Schwab is my favorite author? Surprising right? Because I never talk about it. Jesus, I don’t know how I’m going to get through this book as it ends the Shades of Magic series and I’m absolutely obsessed. I guess I’ll just have to console myself by reading This Dark Duet later on.
Warcross by Marie Lu
Another new series from Marie Lu? Yes, please. I think Lu is one of the most underrated authors and it’s kind of wonderful because she just quietly sits on the sidelines writing these fantastic books. This book reminds me of The Hunger Games meets Ready Player One and I’m so down for that combination. It’ll be out in October of 2017.
Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
The beautiful and brilliant Jenny Han is bringing back Lara Jean and even though I recently got into this series (you can see my review on To All The Boys I’ve Love Before here), I am seriously so excited to get more from it. I need more Peter. More Lara Jean. And most importantly, more Kitty.
So, that’s it. Let me know if you have any of these books on your tbr. Or, maybe, you’ll add them now. You really should. 😉
