My Life in Books Book Tag

My life revolves around books and reading. Outside of this blog and my bookstagram I am a middle school Language Arts teacher. So, to say that reading has a big impact on my life would be an understatement. I liked the idea of this tag. The questions are varied and ones that I have not found in another tag yet. Want to know my life in books? Check out my answers below.

Age – Count Along your bookshelf

Okay, I’m going to be honest I wasn’t sure which way to count along my shelves or which shelves to count. So, I just went for it. I’m 25 and the 25th book on my shelf is Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi.

Book that Represents a Destination You Would Love to Travel Too.

Fondest Memories of

I hate putting Harry Potter on book tags. I try to continue to use different books so I share my love equally. However, I can’t think of a better book for this question. Harry Potter is a series that has been present throughout my life and brought incredible things into my life.

Most Difficulty Reading

I’m looking at this question as a book I had difficulty getting into. That book would be The Catcher in the Rye  by J.D. Salinger. I’ve tried to start this book numerous time but I’ve never been able to really get into it.

Which Book in TBR Pile Will you get the Biggest Sense of Accomplishment From?

There are so many options for this one. My TBR list has gotten out of control. Don’t believe me check out my TBR of shame here. I’m going to have to choose A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. I love Schwab’s writing and I’ve been meaning to read this book for years but I haven’t yet. I am currently reading it though so I should finish it soon!

  2. This is such a cute tag! I might just have tag myself for this one? XD Although I definitely felt your confusion with the counting the number since it really doesn’t tell you what to do for that. Great post, though, and I definitely enjoyed! 🙂

  3. Yessssssss for Everything You Want Me to Be! Such a great novel.
Also, I struggled to connect with The Catcher in the Rye as well. Dull and obnoxious for me.

      1. Same! I thought, maybe I am reading at the wrong time or wrong settings. Maybe I’m missing pages or something. Nope, it just sucks for me, that’s all ahah

  4. This is a really cool tag! Super introspective. I might try it when I have the time 🙂
Harry Potter is just always there, isn’t it? Hahaha I find myself running on that same dilemma sometimes but I end up including it in most tags as well.
