Netflix Book Tag

Who doesn’t love Netflix? It is my go to form of entertainment outside of reading. So, when I saw this Netflix Book Tag on Ana’s blog I knew I just had to do it. I love doing these tags and reading other people’s answers too. So, if your interested in doing the tag you’re tagged!

Creator: Accio Books

Recently Watched:The last book you finished reading.

Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst. It wasn’t my favorite book to be honest. We’re going to have a discussion post up all about our thoughts this Saturday.

Top Picks: A book/books that have been recommended to you based on book you have previously read.

I was recommended to read Truthwitch by Susan Dennard because I love the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I absolutely loved this book. I’m also currently reading Windwitch the second book in the series and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

Recently Added: The last book you bought

I was lucky enough to acquire a copy of Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones a little bit early.

Popular on Netflix: Books that everyone knows about

Definitely Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. This series is popping up everywhere and it makes me so happy because I’m obsessed.

Comedies: A funny book

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling. This book is hilarious. I love Kaling and I find that I can really relate to her. If you haven’t read it you need to run out and get it.

Dramas: A character who is a drama queen/king.

Aidan in the Illuminae series by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman. Because, could a computer be any more dramatic than Aidan? I don’t think so.

Animated: A book with cartoons on the cover

I’m totally going for a cop-out answer here. I’d have to say the illustrated Harry Potter series. They are gorgeous.

Watch it again: A book/book series that you want to re-read

I would like to reread The Young Elites by Marie Lu. I need to finish this series but I read the first book so long ago I need to reread it first.

Documentaries: A non-fiction book you’d recommend to everyone

Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson it is a great encapsulation of living with depression. It is hilarious but poignant at the same time.

Action and Adventure: An action packed book

How could I not say The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon? I adored this story. If you want to see my full review go here.

New Releases: A book that just came out or will be coming out soon that you can’t wait to read.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber! I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book and I can’t wait.

Do you disagree with any of my answers? Are you going to do this tag as well? Make sure to tag Thrice Read so I can see it!
