Conversation Hearts Book Tag

1

Since yesterday was Valentines Day and Jenn got to do a Valentines Day tag, I figured I would follow up with the Conversation Hearts book tag.

Originally (and this is actually why I’m posting late today) I planned to post a review for The Last of August but as I’m sick and struggling to even stay awake, I’ll have to save the review for Friday. By the by, The Last of August is fantastic and I can’t wait to post on it.

This tag was created by That Bookie on Youtube.

I definitely bought Lady Midnight because I was super impressed with the cover.

3

Hm, can I say Maya and Amar from A Star-Touched Queen? Does that count as immediately falling in love?

4

Oh, definitely Six of Crows. Aren’t we all looking for a sarcastic bunch of misfits to be our friends?

I’m not sure. I’ve had conversations with some of my favorite authors (Susan Dennard and V.E. Schwab being at the top of this list). I think if I were looking to have a conversation with an author I really admire that I haven’t had a conversation with before would maybe be Marie Lu. She’s a fantastic writer and she’s not following what’s most popular in YA right now. She’s just doing her thing.

Seranade me? Cassian from A Court of Mist and Fury. I feel as though it would be so funny but so sweet and endearing at the same time.

Y’all know I’m going to say Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson because I’m currently reading The Last of August and am absolutely obsessed.

How was everyone’s Valentines Day? Any particular questions on here that you would answer differently?

  1. Don’t tell me she went and did it!! I don’t want Holmes and Watson as a couple!! At all!!! Why cannot they leave things platonic??? I still have my fingers crossed… but if she goes that way I am jumping the boat… :/
