Last month I vowed to never do another TBR list. And then this month I was like, “Why the hell not?!”
One thing I’ve realized as I was coming up with what I would read this month is that I need to start buying more books. For those of you that don’t know, I haven’t really bought books over the last few months that aren’t really new releases. Since I haven’t bought many new books in about 6 months, I’m running low on reading material.
So weird. I know.
Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
I have been freaking out about this novel for a while now because the whole concept around it just makes it sound so good. This is also helping me in my endeavor to read more debut authors. Keep an eye out for a review on this because it will for sure be showing up sometime soon.
Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh
Haha. You guys know how many times I’ve posted this on a TBR? Like a million at this point, but ignore that because THIS MONTH I WILL READ IT.
The Lie Tree by Francis Hardinge
I bought this book forever ago. I’ve only ever heard amazing things about it and it isn’t super hyped so of course I’m intrigued. Most importantly though, its a bit different from what I usually read.
Riders by Veronica Rossi
I love Rossi and Jenn has raved about this book. I’m excited to read it especially knowing that the sequel will be coming out in a few months.
Have you read any of these books? Which was your favorite? Are you looking to read any of these?
I’m kind of in love with the cover for The Lie Tree! The UK equivalent is not so attractive though, boo! I don’t reach much YA but that particular book sounds very interesting.

I’ve heard so many people say how good it is that I’m just itching to read it. I do hate when covers are beautiful in one country but awful in another. It’s so unfortunate.

I’m intrigued by these! Right now, I want to get a copy of Angels & Demons. I already have The Da Vinci Code, but I want to start from the proper beginning. Happy reading!

I loved Riders, it was such an awesome concept! Wintersong I did not like as much as I thought I would. The Lie Tree has been on my TBR for awhile. I look forward to your review on that one.

I’ve heard so many people say that they actually weren’t fans of Wintersong that it surprises me. The concept just sounds SO good. But I get it, just because something sounds good doesn’t necessarily mean it will be.
