A Book A Day

As of 2:30 today, I will officially be on spring break and guess who has some goals they want to meet.

That’s right. Me.

I’ve decided that since I’ve been so monumentally awful at reading recently (seriously, I’ve just been so tired) that I would read one book a day over spring break.

Or I’ll at least try.

I’m not counting weekends. I’m only counting days of the week.

So, here’s the plan.

One book for each work day of spring break. This means I have to complete five — yes you read that correctly — FIVE books over a nine day period.

I can do this in any order or way I choose. So, lets say I complete one book on Saturday and one book on Sunday. That counts for two of my five books.

Now, I know this sounds easy for some people and totally insane for others. For me it’s quite hard.

So, wish me luck and throw some book suggestions my way because God knows I won’t follow this TBR that I created for myself this week.

Also. If you’re on spring break this week, you should totally join me in this. Struggling in something is always better when you’re struggling with a buddy, right? …right?!

  1. One a day? I wish you the very best. Spring break is the perfect time to get through some books. You got this! I could never do that.

    1. With time away from work I think I’m likely to do ok. It’s when I’m juggling five days a week teaching literary devices to 11 and 12 year olds that it gets hard to read more than one book a week. πŸ™‚

      1. Oh yeah, you’ve got some pretty intense reads there from what I’ve heard about them. I hope they don’t wreck your emotions too much! But I hope you love all the ones on your list ☺️I’m about to start A Gathering of Shadows today and I’m so excited!

  2. You can do it. I’ve done it (somehow) this past few weeks (being obsessive helps). If it’s a thicker book then it takes two days. Trick is: pick books that will hook you lol. Best of luck!
