I found this tag on The Book Corps. And I figured why not air out all of my bookish opinions? So, what do I think should’ve happened in certain books? Read below and find out!
Totally Should’ve Gotten a Sequel
I am not a big fan of forcing sequels on books. However, I would love to see a sequel for A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis. This book was so good and there’s plenty of potential for another story in this world.
Totally Should’ve Gotten a Spin-off Series
I would love to see a spin-off series for Illuminae. I would like to see more of the world. These stories have been amazing but I would like to continue to see different parts of the world these books are set in.
An Author That Totally Should Write More Books
Veronica Rossi. I’ve read a lot of books by Rossi and I’ve loved them all. So, I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. I will be anxiously waiting.
A Character That Totally Should’ve Ended Up with Someone Else
I’m not real sure why the Chaol and Celeana ship had to sink (okay, yes I do. I get it.) But, I loved that relationship and now he’s AWOL.
Totally Should’ve Ended Differently
The ending of The Raven King was not my favorite. I feel like I would have been more appreciative if there was a more unfortunate ending.
Totally Should’ve Had a Movie Franchise
Six of Crows. This book would translate so well to film. Also, can you imagine how great it would be to see Inej do all of her wraith badassery on the big screen?!
Totally Should’ve Had Only One Point of View
Allegiant was hard to read because of he dual perspective. The two voices were too similar to my liking.
Totally Should’ve Had a Cover Change
The Bloodlines book are embarrassingly unattractive. I seriously cannot stand them. I hate reading them in public because of the covers.
Totally Should’ve Kept the Original Covers
The Diviners had a gorgeous original cover. It’s the reason I picked it up. Now, I don’t think the cover is intriguing at all. It’s really a disappointment.
Totally Should’ve Stopped at Book One
I don’t actually have an answer for this one. I typically enjoy the series for what it is. At least no series comes to mind for this answer.
