Feelings Matter Book Tag

Hi everyone! It’s been a great review week here at Thrice Read so I decided to go with a book tag I haven’t seen around in a while. To be fair, I found this on the original creators YouTube video from 2013 so it really hasn’t been around for a while. Check out the original video here!

What book made you feel confident, either about yourself or your life?

Scythe by Neal Shusterman…. because I’m confident I would be picked to be trained as a Scythe.

What book made you feel sympathetic or sympathise greatly with the characters?

I thought this would be an easy question and then I got to thinking and holy cow… there are so many. I think my top two would be The Hate U Give and The Bronze Horseman.

What book made you feel anxious?

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. The anxiety level in that book was intense (in a good way!)

What book made you feel annoyed?

Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst.

What book made you feel disappointed?

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven.

What book made you feel confused?

The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead. I just really wasn’t expecting a frontier novel…

What book made you feel satisfied?

🎶 You will never be satisifed…🎶 Just kidding… so many books satisfy me. Let’s go with The School of Good and Evil by Soman Chainani.

What book made you feel like you could really relate to the main character?

Definitely Lily in P.S. I Like You or Iseult from Truthwitch.

  1. Your blog post made me realise I can’t answer all those questions quickly, if at all! I read a lot and books bring out so many different feelings and results. First book which made me feel confident about myself? Now that’s a really difficult one – I read a biography of Mary Kay (the cosmetic guru) years ago which made me feel if you want something enough you will find a way to make it work. Would that count as making me feel confident about myself? It spurred me on a little to try new things, workwise. Nice to start me thinking, thanks
