      1. I USUALLY read over 100, but this year is slow going. Prob bc I was introduced to social media this year. Otherwise I would have been reading a lot more. Having a social life cuts into the reading time for sure.

  1. I need to follow your lead and take an inventory of all the books I own that I haven’t read. I’m [im]patiently awaiting for the newly constructed IKEA near my house to open, as I’ll finally have the chance to buy enough bookshelves to house all the books that are laying on my guest room floor… I have no idea how many of them I have and haven’t read!

  2. Goodness, that’s a long list. I only read about 35 books a year these days (I have five small children). So, I guess if you count picture books and Beverly Cleary, I probably have read hundreds of books this year. :-p

Right now I’m trying to read this science fiction with a space captain who, in the first chapter, brutally murders everyone aboard a crippled space ship. And he’s supposed to be the _hero_.

  3. “Exit Pursued by Bear” certainly sounds like fun!
I can recommend “Yes Please” – it’s easy to read and gives you some interesting insights into showbiz. I basically read it because I love Amy Poehler and wanted to find out more about the woman behind Leslie Knope… “The Help” was also OK, easy and sopaoperaish enough to keep you engaged.

  4. This is the story of my life. A lot of these books are on my TBR list as well. I’m reading “Yes Please” right now and I finished “Library of Souls” a while back, both are amazing! “Yes Please” is honestly hilarious. Also, “The Help” is one of my favorite books. There’s just something about Skeeter as the main character… I love her!
