The Bedtime Book Tag

You guys I’m sorry you’ve been getting so many tags from me. My reading schedule had been totally thrown out the window because of my summer job. Hopefully I will get back to normal soon. In the mean time since I’m missing so much sleep this week I figured this Tag would be perfect. This tag was created by Kelly’s Bookspill

What book kept you up all night reading?

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. The concluding book to this duology had me hooked. I was so attached to these characters that I couldn’t wait to see what happened to them.

What book made you scared to go to sleep?

A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis had me completely creeped out. The imagery in that book is insane.
What book almost put you to sleep?

I have to choose a book we recently did a discussion on. American Girls by Alison Umminger was not my cup of tea.

What book had you tossing and turning in anticipation for its new release?

The first book that came to mind was Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab. It recently was released and I. CAN’T. WAIT.

What book has your dream boyfriend?

How could I not choose Bloodlines by Richelle Mead? If you haven’t read about Adrian then you are missing out. That boy could charm the pants off of anyone.

What book would be a nightmare to live in?

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. Let’s just say I would not want to switch places with Paige. It is one of the grittiest and dark fantasy novel settings that I’ve ever read.
What book reminds you of nighttime?

What immediately came to mind was The Iron Trial by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black. I think this had to do with the chaos mages and their magic. The magic system is awesome in this series.

What book has a nightmarish cliffhanger?

Sarah J. Maas killed me with the end of A Court of Mist and Fury. Seriously, it’s immoral to leave us hanging like that.

What book have you actually dreamed about?

I use Harry Potter for a lot of answers in tags. I’m sorry. But all of my best dreams involve living in the Wizard world. I can’t help it.

What fictional monster would you not like hiding under your bed?

Okay, so she’s not actually a monster. But, I would not want to come up against Nemesis from The Diabolic by S. J. Kincaid. She is a maniacal badass.
Who is your dream book boyfriend? Let me know in the comments!

      2. I never thought about it before but you are so right about the Iron Trial, and I can’t even count how many times I have dreamed about Harry Potter so I totally feel you on this one. Great tag post I love it!
