Today’s top five Wednesday is all about ships.
No, not the ones that sail across the seas, but the ones that we yearn for as we read through A Court of Mist and Fury (don’t lie, I know you’re on that Nesta and Cassian ship).
I’m going to make this intro short, so enjoy!
Iseult and Aeduan – Truthwitch, Susan Dennard
They are so quiet and adorable that I can’t not love them. I really hated Aeduan at first simply because I feared he would ruin my girl bond between Safi and Iseult. It’s yet to happen so, for now, Aeduan and I are cool.
Luka Lowe and Yeal – Wolf by Wolf, Ryan Graudin
Luka is our stereotypical bad boy of the Third Reich and Yeal is our typical revolutionary. How can this pairing not end well?
Grace and Dr. Thornhollow – A Madness So Discreet, Mindy McGinnis
For the rest of my life, or maybe until McGinnis decides it’s time to give us a follow up to this novel, I will feel a sense of “what if…” on this ship.
Kell and Lila – A Darker Shade of Magic, V.E. Schwab
Oh look, I happen to have Schwab characters in this post. How unusual. Let’s be real, these two are end game. I’ve yet to read the third book so don’t break my heart in the comments if it never happens.
Sydney and Adrian – Bloodlines, Richelle Mead
My little Vampire Academy castoffs were such an interesting coupling. I mean, let’s put Sydney, who hates Moroi with this most Moroi of all the Morois: Adrian. They’re a fun ship that I’ll never regret.
