Jenn’s June Wrap-Up & July TBR

June was a tough reading month for me especially when compared to last month’s wrap-up. In the month of May I was able to read 14 books. This month? I only read 6. Yep, that’s right I read not even half the number of books in June. I’m a little disappointed but luckily I’m still ahead on my Goodreads goal. Luckily I really enjoyed the 6 books I read in the month of June. So, I guess that makes up for it.

June Wrap-Up

  1. The Copper Gauntlet by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare
  2. Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
  3. P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
  4. Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Han
  5. Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh
  6. Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

July TBR

Okay, I have to be realistic about this July TBR. So, in addition to our Thrice Read Saturday books I’m going to try to read 4 other books in this month. However, I want to give myself some choices. So, I’m going to post an inspiration list rather than a strict TBR. I’m going to read 4 of the books from the grid below. Wish me luck!

What are you planning on reading this month? Let me know below!

  1. I really want to read Eliza and her monsters so badly! How was the copper gauntlet? I read the iron trial forever ago and really enjoyed it, but it has been so long now I have let that series slide off my list.

  2. Eliza is one of my top reads so far this year. I hope you love it. I need to get to that last Lara Jean book, but I am infamous for putting off finishing series that I really enjoy. So, who knows when I will get to it.

  3. I heard lots of good things about Eliza, which is a book that I will definitely be reading in the near future. I love the Shades of Magic series by VE Schwab. Will you be doing reviews for Jenny Han’s books? I’ve been seeing them mentioned a lot and wondering if I should read them

  4. Awesome wrap up! I haven’t read any of those yet, but have heard so many great things!! Don’t feel bad about 6 books. Typically I average between 4-5. I have been working hard to learn to read faster so I can get more in!

  5. I also really enjoyed The Upside of Unrequited Love! What do you think of The Grisha Trilogy so far? I wish my TBR was this organized – usually it is a stack of library books that I read in order of date due. Happy July!
