How I Choose Book Tag

Hello everyone! These weeks are already going by so quickly and we are now only into the third week of school. It really has been a whirlwind and I still don’t feel like I have my feet under me yet.

Nevertheless, the show must go on and one thing that hasn’t left me is reading, so I’m really enjoying this consistency in my life right now. This book tag that I picked up was from Meggan’s blog Between the Pages, check out her post here!

Find a book on your bookshelves with a blue cover. What made you want to pick up this book?

Strange the Dreamer. To be fair, I received this book in my Fairyloot box so I didn’t technically pick it up off of the shelf. However, this book was phenomenal and I definitely would have bought it if I hadn’t received it in my book box.

Think of a book you didn’t expect to enjoy, but did. Why did you read it in the first place?

Definitely The Wrath & the Dawn. I wasn’t in the mood for a retelling and just didn’t expect to love that book as much as I did!

Stand in front of your bookshelf with your eyes closed and pick a book at random. How did you discover this book?

The Darkest Minds. This is one of the first books that Eden recommended to me a few years before we started blogging. I read the first book but had to wait for the next one to come out and just never got around to reading the rest. I’ve put all of the books in the series on my TBR list since then.

Pick a book that someone personally recommended to you. What did you think of it?

The Bronze Horseman. I can’t remember if it was Eden or Jenn that recommended it to me but it was such a great pick.

Pick a book up that you discovered through booktube/bookstagram/book blogs. Did it live up to the hype?

Heartless was a book that we found through Bookstagram and it most certainly did live up to the hype!

Find a book on your shelves with a one-word title. What drew you to this book?

Truthwitch. The premise of the story definitely enticed me and Eden raved about it so, of course I picked it up.

What book did you discover through a film/TV adaptation?

Me Before You. I heard about the book through the previews of the movie, I was intrigued so I read the book then I went to see the movie!

Think of your all-time favorite book(s). When did you read these and why did you pick them up in the first place?

Definitely A Court of Thorns and Roses series and I picked it up because I finally started to believe in Eden’s recommendations to me before we started this blog! I’m sure glad I did, too!

This was such a fun book tag, please feel free to do it if you are interested! Were there any books that sparked your interest on my list? Let me know!
