The Book Blogger Memory Challenge – Part Two

Jenn did this post last week. I’m going to be honest, I don’t read all of the posts on here sometimes. This was one of them. I was really interested in it, but couldn’t find time to read it when she did it. Now, it’s my turn to do it.

Jenn originally found this over on Malcolm’s blog. But, it was originally created by Laura @ Laura’s Book Reviews. We’ll see how this goes.

Here’s the deal. Answer these 10 questions before reading my answers. Your challenge is to answer all of them without looking at your shelves or online. After you’ve done that come back and see if you matched any of my answers!

Q1: Name a book written by an author called Michael.
Q2: Name a book with a dragon on the cover.
Q3: Name a book about a character called George.
Q4: Name a book written by an author with the surname Smith.
Q5: Name a book set in Australia.
Q6: Name a book with the name of a month in the title.
Q7: Name a book with a knife on the cover.
Q8: Name a book with the word ‘one’ in the title.
Q9: Name a book with a eponymous title.
Q10: Name a book turned into a movie.

Q1: Name a book written by an author called Michael.

Michael Vey? Is this an author? I think he wrote Undertow but Jenn is telling me I’m wrong. So….

* After completing this tag, I just learned that Michael Vey is the author of The Spark which is a very popular book series at the school I work at.

Q2: Name a book with a dragon on the cover.

Does Flame in the Mist count? Is that a dragon? Wow. I’m bad at this.

Q3: Name a book about a character called George.

Of Mice and Men, of course! George and Lenny.

Q4: Name a book written by an author with the surname Smith.

I want to say L.J. Smith. I couldn’t remember what they wrote, but Jenn just told me the Vampire Diaries series so that makes sense.

Q5: Name a book set in Australia.

The only book I can think of is My Sister Rosa and that’s not right because it’s set in America, but the characters are Australian.

Q6: Name a book with the name of a month in the title.

The May Queen Murders.

Q7: Name a book with a knife on the cover.

I think the book is called Ruined.

Q8: Name a book with the word ‘one’ in the title.

The One and Only Ivan. This one was the hardest for me to answer and I am very proud that I actually came up with an answer.

Q9: Name a book with a eponymous title.

Viola in Reel Life. I haven’t read this book but I’ve been eyeing it on my shelf for a while.

Q10: Name a book turned into a movie.

Before I Fall. I think this is the most recent book-to-movie adaption I’ve seen. I don’t recommend it.
