I am so down with today’s top five Wednesday.
Today, I’m going to be giving you my top five bromances.
As it’s described on the Goodreads group page, “I think we have done this topic before in the distant past, but who doesn’t love a good bromance? Bromance = platonic relationship between two characters who identify as male.”
Even if it’s a repeat, I’m here for this.
If you want to participate in top five Wednesday, you can join the group here. The group updates every month and you’ll have an opportunity to join in on the fun every Wednesday.
Ronan and Gansey
I love these boys because they love each other so much. Gansey works so hard to keep Ronan on the straight and narrow and it’s not because he feels he owes it to him. It’s because they love each other and I love them for it.
Rhy and Kell
Who would I be if I didn’t include these two? I’m obsessed with there love for each other and even more in love with the lifeline they share. V.E. Schwab created one bromance that I will always be down for.
Rhys, Azriel and Cassian
The banter. I love that these three are practically royalty yet that act like squabbling children 90 percent of the time. Honestly, half of what made the final two books in the ACOTAR series so good was this bromance.
Sevro and Darrow
These two are the brothers that should have been. They’re polar opposites, yet not. Their moral compass is always facing north and both of them would die to save the other. I don’t know if there’s a bromance that sees as much sacrifice as this one.
Kaz and Jesper
Kaz does some awful shit to Jesper, but man, they love each other. Kaz does the things he does because he doesn’t know how to let people in. I love that Jesper is his go-to no matter how angry they are and even more, I love that Jesper and Kaz both recognized they needed people by their sides even when they said they didn’t want the company.
