There’s a story that I tell my friends relatively often because I’m baffled and humored by it. When I was in fourth grade, my teacher spent most of the year showing us The Princess Bride. I don’t know that I learned a lot that year but I remember thoroughly enjoying it.
So, when I saw this tag over at Gail the Fabulaphile’s blog I just knew I had to do it.
Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I did!
Westley: Favorite Hero
Ronan from The Raven Cycle. He’s so different at the start of the books and then he turns into the hero you never expected.
Princess Buttercup: Favorite Rags to Riches Story
Feyre probably has the best rags to riches story that I can think of currently.
Dread Pirate Roberts: Favorite Book With Pirates, or One You Want to Read
I haven’t read it yet, but I really want to read Daughter of the Pirate King. I’ve heard so many people talk about how good it is.
Prince Humperdink: Villain You Love to Hate, or One You Just Think is Funny
The Darkling. I don’t hate him but I always found him amusing.
Rous (rodents of unusual size): Best Fantastical Monster
August Flynn. And I know this question wasn’t looking for an answer like that but I just love him so much.
As You Wish: A Book With a Sweet Romance
Since You’ve Been Gone has the sweetest romance between Emily and Frank.
Mawiage: Name two characters you ship, and two you don’t.
Aeduon and Iseulte from Truthwitch. I don’t know what I’ll do without them ending up together.
For characters I don’t ship I’d have to say Lara Jean and John Ambrose McLaren. I was so upset while reading the second book because of this.
Fezzick, Vezzini, and Montoya: Favorite Book Crime Group
*Obligstory comment about loving the Six of Crows gang*
Less obvious answer: the group from Wolf by Wolf. They’re obviously doing what’s right but unfortunately it’s seen as a crime.
Inigo Montoya: Best Revenge Story
A Gathering of Shadows. Now I know you don’t think revenge when you see this book but think about Alicards reasoning for competing as well as Lila’s. Also, Rhys anger toward Kell.
Book Vs Movie: Which is Your Favorite? Both? Why?
Book, always. But if were referring to The Princess Bride then the movie simply because I haven’t read the book.
