The Raven Cycle Book Tag

So sorry to get this post to you guys so late! Obviously YALLFest totally threw me off and I didn’t even realize it was Monday! I figured this would be a great tag to do since I just started Blue Lily, Lily Blue over the weekend!

Thanks to Inside My Library Mind for creating this tag! I found this on Tyr’s blog, be sure to check out that post here!

Blue Sargent: Your Favorite Quirky Character

“Blue was a fanciful, but sensible thing. Like a platypus, or one of those sandwiches that had been cut into circles for a fancy tea party.”

Alice from Furthermore. She is definitely one of the most quirky characters that I have read about and she brought so much to the table.

Gansey: A Leader

“Gansey was just a guy with a lot of stuff and a hole inside him that chewed away more of his heart every year.”

Definitely Kaz from Six of Crows. Natural-born, I would say.

Ronan Lynch: Your Favorite Character of All Time

“I am being perfectly f***ing civil.”

I think I would go with Shazi from The Wrath and the Dawn. She is such a powerful character and I have so much love for her.

Adam Parrish: A Character You Disliked at First but Love Now

“If you combined these two things – the unfathomable and the practical – you were most of the way to understanding Adam Parrish.”

Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Noah Czerny: The Most Lovable Character

“Depending on where you began the story, it was about Noah Czerny.”

Lara Jean (or maybe her sister Kitty)…

The Women of 300 Fox Way: Your Favorite Female Role Model

“You could ask anyone: 300 Fox Way, Henrietta, Virginia, was the place to go for the spiritual, the unseen, the mysterious, and the yet-to-occur.”

Yael from Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin. She is such a strong female character.

The Search for Glendower: A Book Series You Wish Had Never or Will Never End

“He was everything Gansey wished he could be: wise and brave, sure of his path, touched by the supernatural, respected by all, survived by his legacy.”

Harry Potter. I honestly don’t think I could ever get sick of it. I would love to see so many things from that series… The Marauder’s storyline, I would love a glimpse into the other wizarding schools… So many interesting arcs could be followed successfully in that world.

Mr. Gray: An Anti-Hero

“There aren’t terrible ideas. Just ideas done terribly.”

Lana from And I Rise by Kiersten White.

Psychics and Tarot Cards: Your Favorite Magic System

“It was impossible to forget that all of these women were plugged into the past and tapped into the future, connected to everything in the world and to one another.”

I loved the system in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

Kavinsky: Your Favorite Unlikable Character

“Reality’s what other people dream for you.”

The Queen of Hearts from Marissa Meyer’s Heartless.

Cabeswater: Your Favorite Book Setting

“Cabeswater was such a good listener.”

I loved Weep in Strange the Dreamer!

This was such a difficult tag because I was thinking about answers and would constantly come up with a Raven Cycle answer to a question… Bravo to Inside My Library Mind to creating a super fun tag! Feel free to grab it yourself!

  1. I loved reading your answers! You’re one of the first people who didn’t put Kaz as their anti-hero! Since I follow you, and I caught that you did the tag, might as well point out that I created the tag. It’s not a problem, just thought it should be known 😊 Again, great answers!
