Thanksgiving Book Tag

Happy Thanksgiving! Since we are celebrating Thanksgiving today I felt like this would be the perfect post! I grabbed this book tag from Ashley’s blog, Thrifty Bibliophile, check out her post here.

History: Choose a book set in America.

The first one that came to mind was To Kill A Mockingbird.

Thankful: What book are you thankful for?

Currently, I’m thankful for Nic Stone’s Dear Martin. II’m reading it right now and I’m loving it. If you’re looking for an honest and moving book you should check it out. Keep an eye out for a review of it soon.

Thanksgiving Dinner: What book features a meal that makes you say “yum”?

I can’t think of one that features an entire meal that I thought sounded delicious. But, the cookies and desserts that Lara Jean cooks in the To All the Boys I Loved Before series sound amazing.

Pumpkin Pie: Choose a book you think is very sweet.

Attachments by Rainbow Rowell, I adore Rowell’s writing. This is one of my favorite books of hers.

Food Coma: Choose a book that’s been on your TBR list forever that you really need to read.

Oh goodness this would be a very long list. I think that The Rose Society would be a book I need to read ASAP. I loved The Young Elites, but just didn’t end up reading the rest of the series.

After Dinner Drinks: What book is your guilty pleasure?

I don’t think I have any guilty pleasures. I’m pretty open with the books that I like. I will say that I’m a sucker for a good fluffy high school drama though.

Drunk Uncle: Choose an unpopular book that you like.

I know a lot of people did not like The Cursed Child. But, I really enjoyed it. It definitely did not compare to the Harry Potter series. However, I still liked it.

Black Friday Shopping: What was the last book you pre-ordered?

I just pre-ordered Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi and I can’t wait until it comes out!
