Ah, I have no shame–I either read something or don’t, so it is much more stress-free for me! I have hundreds or maybe thousands of books around here that I haven’t read yet, so I get to them when I get to them. I read maybe six or eight a week, mostly old paperbacks.

Oh I totally feel your pain. My tbr is 75 books but it used to be 175. I still have a monthly panic about it (!) but I do feel a bit better about it since I joined Beat the Backlist challenge as I know I am at least trying to tackle It!!!

I have no idea how many books I have on my shelves but it definitely numbers in the hundreds, plus I am constantly adding to it through library loans, gifts and browsing in all the bookshops near me. The TBR will never end!
