New Year Book Tag

I know… It’s January 29th… What is Caitlynn doing just now doing a New Year book tag? Well, I’ll tell you what… I don’t know. It just felt right.

I got this from Astronima’s Reviews & Clutter, you can check out her post here.

Best book and/or series that you’ve read in 2017?

I would probably say Strange the Dreamer was the best book that I read in 2017. It was just a magical book and I cannot wait for the next one.

Authors that you’ve recently found and would like to read more of in the new year?

Most anticipated book turned movie/tv show?

Honestly, I don’t really have one… I would probably say The Handmaid’s Tale only because I only read that book because I wanted to watch the show… I don’t watch a whole lot of tv.

Name a character that you wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss with at midnight (if there is one)?

I haven’t really found myself attracted to a character lately… Rhys was the most recent character that I fell in love with.

What’s on you TBR for 2018?

So many books… but definitely Iron Gold by Pierce Brown, Thunderhead, A Court of Frost and Starlight.

How many books do you hope to read in 2018?

I’m really hoping to hit my Goodreads challenge of 75 or more this year!

Will you participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge or any others?

Of course! I love the competition and haven’t found it too overwhelming trying to hit my goal, so I’ll keep up with that.

Any New Year’s Resolutions? (Bookish, blogging (or vlogging), and otherwise)

I definitely want to read more and get through more of the books on my shelves. I would also like to start doing more stuff with the blog, I just love growing and meeting so many new people from it.

  1. Maybe you can call it Chinese or Tibetan new year, both of which are coming up…? Or the new year of the trees (I can’t spell ‘tubeshvat’), in the Jewish calender?
