Books That Have Been TBRs For Far Too Long

I saw a couple of posts on Tuesday in which people were talking about their TBRs and how they’ve had certain books on them for way to long.

Instead of updating my TBR of Shame, I felt that this would be more fun.

I’m going to list five TBR’s that have been on my bookshelf for a year or longer that I intend to read sometime this year.

Now, I know that sounds like it will never happen because I’ve been in such a reading slump since Thanksgiving, but you should know that I’ve started Made You Up and I’m more than halfway finished and excited to start my next book.

SO, this challenge should come a bit easier with my slump finally shaking itself off me.

  1. The School For Good and Evil: The Last Ever After by Soman Chainani
  2. The Thousandth Floor by Katherine McGee
  3. Ivory and Bone by Julier Eshbaugh
  4. Frost Like Night by Sara Raasch
  5. Ever The Hunted by Erin Summerill

What books have you had on your TBR forever? Do you think you’ll read them any time in the future?

  1. I’ve read Frost Like Night last year and I thought it was a good conclusion to the trilogy. There are so many books on my TBR that I’ve had for over a year :-s I think I might do a blogpost about them as well (thanks for the idea ;-P )

  2. Eh, hundreds or maybe thousands of older paperbacks. I can’t even start to list them. I just read maybe one a night or less if it’s a fatter book, and call that good.

  3. Ever the Hunted has been staring at me on my bookshelf and maybe seeing it on your list will get me to read it! The other one for me is Caraval. I own it and have seen great reviews. Why won’t I just pick it up and read it? Who knows!!

    1. Honestly, Caraval was one of the best books of 2016, in my opinion. When I say that, I don’t mean it lightly because there were so many amazing books that came out last year. You should read it ASAP. It’s wonderful.

      1. Everyone loves it! LOL. I think that’s part of the problem. Let’s make a pact. I’ll read Ever the Hunted and Caraval if you knock two of your list. In the next month. Can we do it? I say Yes! LOL
