Listen, this tag hooked me because of the time travel element. I’m a real sucker for some good time traveling. This unique tag was created by The Book Loving Pharmacist. I stumbled across it on Elnade’s blog.
Picture this, you’ve encountered a bubble or portal which, if you step through, can manipulate the time inside. With this, you can read all the books you want and when you step out of the bubble, no time has passed in the real world. You can finally make time for all those books you’ve been ignoring. So, now that you’ve stepped through the time bubble, answer the following questions:
What book (or audiobook) have you been meaning to read for a long time but haven’t gotten around to reading.
At this point there are too many to count. But, the first one to come to mind is Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo. I’m surprised that it’s taken me this long to actually read it, since I grew up loving Wonder Woman.
A book you have been meaning to reread, but haven’t.
The Young Elites by Marie Lu. I originally read this book upon its release. However, it’s been forever since I’ve read it, so in turn I’ve put off continuing the series. I would love to dive back in.
A book from a genre you don’t normally read, but have been meaning to try and give it a chance.
I’m not one that typically picks up biographies. I read a lot of memoirs but not many biographies. I’ve had Alexander Hamilton’s biography on my shelf for what seems like forever, but I haven’t made it a point to complete it.
A series you’ve been wanting to read, but haven’t because of how long it is.
Song of Fire and Ice. Let’s be real this is never going to happen. It’s just a far too daunting task for me to take on.
A book you wish you could go back in time and read for the first time.
Harry Potter. I would love to get those feelings back of being a kid coming across a magical world for the first time.
A book recommendation you have been putting off.
Okay, Eden had to mind me of this answer. That’s how long I’ve been putting it off. But, Firefight by Brandon Sanderson. I loved the first book in this series. However, if you couldn’t tell I have a unhealthy habit of not finishing series. So, I need to get back to this series.
What book would you love to read again for the first time?
