The Book Feels Tag

I saw this tag done by Brittney over at Stories Have Power and loved reading her answers, so I figured I would go ahead and do the tag as well!

Check out Brittney’s post here.

A book series that made you smile or laugh:

Definitely Eliza and Her Monsters.

A book/series that made you sad or want to cry:

The last book to make me cry was The Midnight Star by Marie Lu.

A book/series that you love:

A Court of Mist and Fury or Red Rising. Those are two of my favorite series.

A book/series you didn’t particularly like:

The Dark Artifices series by Cassandra Clare. Both Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows were such let down’s for me.

A book/series that was made into a movie that you liked:

Harry Potter. It wasn’t nearly as fantastic as the books but it was very well done.

A book/series that was made into a movie that you didn’t like:

Divergent… That movies series had all kinds of issues.

A book/series you have mixed feelings about:

Unwind… Only because I still haven’t decided if I want to continue the series or just be done with the first book. I love Shusterman’s other series Scythe so much, I want to give Unwind more of a chance.

A book/series you haven’t read but are totally excited about:

The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. I’m super excited to read it, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Maybe soon…

A book/series that made you angry:

Hmm… I’m not sure about angry… Maybe The Hate U Give… I would say that book made me angry at society.

A book/series you can feel like you can relate to:

So, so many. YA has such a great variety of books that are relatable. I would say the most recent one was One of Us Is Lying.

  1. I love the Mistborn series! I’m reading one right now. And I totally agree about Unwind. I really liked how it ended, so I haven’t read any more in the series. I haven’t read Scythe yet though, but I loved Challenger Deep.
