Good morning everyone and happy Friday!
I wasn’t sure what I was going to post today because it’s been a weird week in reading (I’ve been reading Children of Blood and Bone and WOWOWOW, it’s so good!), but I was scrolling through some blog posts and found a really awesome post by Charlotte at Wonderfully Bookish in which she talked about some potentially interesting blog posts.
One that I was p[articularly interested in was a post about your Potter House! As I’m obsessed with Harry Potter (who isn’t, though?) I thought it would be fun to give the lowdown on my Hogwarts and Ilvermorny house, wand, and patronus.
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
Brave, courageous, chivalrous, daring, bold
You probably know that some of Gryffindor’s most renowned members include Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter. But did you know the sword of Gryffindor was made a thousand years ago by goblins, or that Head of House Minerva McGonagall’s hobbies include correcting articles in Transfiguration Today and supporting the Montrose Magpies? – via Pottermore.com
When I was about 16 years old, I was originally sorted into Hufflepuff, which at the time, I was very upset about. Since being renamed a Gryffindor, I’m actually quite sad about no longer being a Hufflepuff. However, at this current time, I feel like I best fit with Gyffindor.
Ilvermorny House: Wampus
Named by Webster Boot after his favourite magical beast, the Wampus; a magical panther-like creature that was fast, strong and almost impossible to kill. Wampus house is sometimes considered to represent the body of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Wampus favours warriors. – via Pottermore.com
Patronus: Wild Rabbit
