I’m not sure why, but as soon as we hit July I finally get into full summer mode. Today, I am actually hanging out (aka sweating so bad) at Disney World!
So, I felt like today would be a perfect day for a summer book tag. So here we are…
I went back a few years to find a good summer book tag, and I found this tag on Michelle’s blog, The Writing Hufflepuff, you can check out her post here!
LEMONADE: PICK A BOOK THAT STARTED OFF BITTER BUT THEN GOT BETTER
LIFELIK3 was a tough book to get into because Jay Kristoff has a very distinct way of creating worlds and languages, it was a little tough to get into.
GOLDEN SUN: PICK A BOOK THAT MADE YOU SMILE BEYOND COMPARE
The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue definitely made me smile so much!
TROPICAL FLOWERS: PICK A BOOK SET IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY
I’m going to pick Orisha from Children of Blood and Bone.
TREE SHADE: PICK A BOOK WHERE A MYSTERIOUS OR SHADY CHARACTER IS INTRODUCED
I definitely have to pick A Long Way Down that book was great and the characters introduced were super mysterious for me.
BEACH SAND: PICK A BOOK THAT WAS GRAINY AND THE PLOT BARELY DEVELOPED
The May Queen Murders was definitely a poorly developed plot.
GREEN GRASS: PICK A CHARACTER(S) THAT WAS FULL OF LIFE, MAKING YOU SMILE
Morrigan from A Court of Thorns and Roses. She truly is a character that is full of life.
WATERMELON: PICK A BOOK THAT HAD SOME JUICY SECRETS
Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian has quite a few juicy secrets in it.
SUN HAT: PICK A BOOK WITH A VAST, BIG UNIVERSE/SETTING
Ready Player One works for this question, right? I mean they have this huge VR universe…
BBQ: PICK A BOOK IN WHICH A CHARACTER WAS PORTRAYED AS A HUNK
Honestly, I’m not sure! Truly hunky guys are hard to come by in books.
