Life’s a Beach Book Tag

I’m currently deep into the Tope Topple readathon. That means I don’t quite have a review ready for you guys yet. However, I will have some next week! Let me know if you’re also participating in the readathon. I’d love to expand our support system in this readathon! When I stumbled upon this post on Enthralling Umbrella Books’ blog I thought it was perfect timing.

The Sand // A book that stuck with you long after you finished reading

I feel as though this is a book that I will never forget. The message, passion, and honesty through this novel made it impactful.I’m so thankful to have read it.

The Sun // A book that burned you

I wanted so much more from this book after hearing the hype surrounding it. Unfortunately my expectations were a little too high.

The Waves // A book that calms you down after a long day

I’m going to have to cheat on this book. I can’t choose just one book. So, I’ll have to say any and all of Jenny Han’s books.

The Bathing Suit // A book with a pretty, summer-y cover

I love this cover. It is beautiful and the colors definitely remind me of summer.

The Birds // A book that is everywhere

The Company// A book with wonderful characters

The characters in this novel were great to follow. I loved their interactions and personalities. It was a complex idea and plot yet the characters were still the driving force of this novel. I greatly appreciated that.

The Ice-Cold Drinks // A book you absolutely gulped down

Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. It is amazing. Jason Reynolds is a beautiful author and the verse in this book is incredible. It definitely one of my favorite books of all time.

The Fun Memories // A book you can’t wait to return to

I’ve been “in progress” on this book for quite some time. I’m enjoying it yet life and other books keep getting in the way. So, I’m excited to get back to it.

What have you read recently where you couldn’t help but love the characters? Give me some suggestions in the comments!
