Panic at the Disco Book Tag

So, I love Panic at the Disco. I also love their new album. When I saw this on Kitt’s blog it was kismet. This was a fun tag that made me really think for all of the questions.

The Death of a Bachelor – A Romance Book

The ultimate romance book, The Bronze Horseman by Paulinna Simons

High Hopes – A Book You’re Really Excited For

A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi. How could I not be excited for this book? I love Mafi’s novel and I’m excited to read this passion project.

Miss Jackson – A Book with a Betrayal

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. I mean the real betrayal may be the fact that I still root for The Darkling.

Girls/Girls/Boys – A LGBTQ+ Book

Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli was a beautiful LGBTQ+ novel.

I Write Sins Not Tragedies – A Book Featuring a Wedding

The Wrath & the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh? The wedding was the entire inciting incident.

Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time – A Book Featuring a Partying Protagonist or a Party Scene

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

Say Amen (Saturday Night) – A Book with an Unapologetic Main Character

 Vicious by V.E. Schwab

This Is Gospel – A Book From a Trilogy

I’m not sure why this was the first series that came to mind. However, I immediately thought of Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Emperor’s New Clothes – A Hardback that Looks Beautiful Naked

I mean just stake a peak under that cover, Caraval by Stephanie Garber is gorgeous.

Victorious – An Empowering Book

When I read any of Leigh Bardugo’s books I feel empowered. I know I have to choose one, so I’ll have to choose Wonder Woman. I mean how could I not feel empowered when reading about Wonder Woman?

Impossible Year – A Really Sad Book

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This book destroyed me completely.

King Of The Clouds – A Prize Winning Book

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas deserves every award it’s won plus some. It’s important for people to read the message in the book and I hate that people are working to get it banned. THUG is an important book for individuals in our society to read.

Hey Look Ma, I Made It – A Debut Author

Alexandra Christo, the author of To Kill a Kingdom blew me away with her debut novel. I will definitely be picking up any and every book she writes from this point forward.

What book makes you feel empowered?
