Last week, I posted the first Share a Shelfie post here. I really liked doing the post and you guys really liked seeing my shelves, so here we are again this week for Share a Shelfie week 2!
I found these shelfie questions to go along with the post this time, so it’s not just a picture and a little information, I found it on Jennifer’s blog, check out her post here. Check out the creator of this tag Bibliobeth. So here we go!
1.) Is there any reason for this shelf being organised the way it is or is it purely random?
I would say for the most part it has a clear organization pattern. I have my HP shelf, my Rick Riordan shelf, and then pretty contemporaries and other things.
2.) Tell us a story about one of the books on this shelf that is special to you i.e., how you got it/ a memory associated with it etc.
Both my HP box sets were gifts from my amazing fiance. The brown one is the original hardcover US editions and the red one on the bottom is the hardcover UK editions. They are both so, so beautiful.
3.) Which book from this shelf would you ditch if you were forced to and why?
Definitely The Heir by Keira Cass. I really, really enjoyed the Selection series until that point. She should have ended the series as a trilogy.
4.) Which book from this shelf would you save in an emergency and why?
Probably my Prisoner of Azkaban illustrated edition. Those HP illustrated editions are some of my absolute favorite books.
5.) Which book has been on this shelf for the longest time?
Besides my Harry Potter books, I would probably actually say maybe Cinder by Marissa Meyer.
6.) Which book is the newest addition to this shelf?
Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover.
7.) Which book from this shelf are you most excited to read (or re-read if this is a favourites shelf)?
Definitely Made You Up by Francesca Zappia!
8.) If there is an object on this shelf apart from books, tell us the story behind it.
I’ll go with my acceptance letter to Hogwarts. My fiance surprised me with it one year and I just loved it so much! It came in the mail and everything looked exactly like an actual invitation.
9.) What does this shelf tell us about you as a reader?
I think this shelf really shows how committed to authors I stay. I haven’t read all of those Riordan or Hoover books yet, but I enjoyed so many of their other books that I just keep buying new books by them until I eventually read them. Also, I’m a HP-stan.
10.) Choose other bloggers to tag or choose a free question you make up yourself.
Seriously, anybody reading this! I love seeing people’s bookshelves and I loved doing the questions along with it this time!
