While, yes, it is technically fall it definitely does not feel like it on this 90 degree day in Florida…
Eden did this tag earlier this week, but I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Check out her post here.
Thanks to Sarah Stubbs for doing this tag.
IN FALL, THE AIR IS CRISP AND CLEAR:
NAME A BOOK WITH A VIVID SETTING.
I’m going to go with Ready Player One for this one. Cline did a great job making the virtual world very descriptive.
Nature is beautiful, but also dying:
Name a book that is beautifully written,
but deals with a heavy topic
The most recent one that I have read was Dear Martin.
Fall is back to school season:
Share a non-fiction book that taught you something new
I really cannot say when the last time I read a non-fiction work was.
In order to keep warm, it’s good to spend
time with people we love:
Name a fictional family, household, or friend group you’d like to be a part of
I would love to sit in with the Feyre, Rhys and everyone. I feel like it would be a very interesting experience.
The colorful leaves are piling up on the ground:
Show us a pile of fall-colored spines
Fall is the perfect time for some
storytelling by the fireside:
Share a book wherein somebody is telling a story
I have to mimic Eden on this one and choose The Wrath & the Dawn. Usually storytelling in books is so boring, but Renee Ahdieh made it so beautiful in that book.
The nights are getting darker:
Share a dark, creepy read
The Lovely Bones was definitely a creepy read.
The days are getting colder:
Name a short, heartwarming read to
warm up someone’s cold, rainy day
It is not super short but To All the Boy’s I’ve Loved Before is super heart warming!
Fall returns every year:
Name an old favorite you’d like to return to soon
I am really in the mood to reread the Red Rising series!
