September was actually a really good month for me.
I’ve struggled this year to get in much reading. I think a lot of it comes from just being really busy and not being able to really sit down and focus on a book.
However, in September I managed to read a couple of books and it was an excellent reminder of just how much I’ve missed reading.
With that said, I’m not going to add an October TBR yet because I haven’t settled on what I want to read for the month just yet.
Legendary by Stephanie Garber
- I had high hopes for Legendary, though I wasn’t sure if they’d live up to my expectations. In the end Stephanie Garber left me a little stunned, a little sad, and very eager for the next book in the trilogy.
An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
- After the high of Legendary I wanted a simple fantasy that would be easy to get into. I enjoyed this book because it was a quick read and a new twist on an old idea.
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
- I am obsessed. I planned on reading The Cruel Prince at the beginning of the summer but I just didn’t have time. After all that time waiting, it was worth it. I still can’t shake the feeling this book left with me.
