It’s been a bit since we last posted.
You didn’t get any posts last week because it was Thanksgiving and it just so happened that we were in New Orleans for a few days.
Needless to say, we’ve been ridiculously busy and haven’t had the time to post!
In the time that we’ve been gone we’ve been doing some things. Or at least, I have.
One Wednesday of last week I began reading Tahereh Mafi’s A Very Large Expanse of Sea, but put it down after the first chapter. I didn’t put it down because I didn’t like it, but because I’ve been telling myself for months that I would reread the Shatter Me series.
The first time I read the series was about six years ago when I was in my sophomore year of college. I wanted to reread the series though as I couldn’t remember most of it and I wanted to read the newest novel in the series Restore Me.
I’m halfway through the first novel in the series and I’m thankful that I chose to wait to read A Very Large Expanse of Sea. With that said, it looks like the last couple of books I’ll read for 2018 will all be Tahereh Mafi novels.
Honestly, I can’t complain about that.
